Tour of the Franz Bread Outlet Front view of the Franz bread outlet in Albany Oregon on November 30, 2023. It has been here for 70 years at this same location on Waverly drive . They also have other outlets around Oregon in Portland, Nappa, Springfield and other areas scattered around to bring you quality bread at an affordable price. They have cookies, donuts, and all kinds of different breads to choose from. Being a family owned business since 1906 it is a great way to get your bread. At this outlet in Albany have trucks delivering bread to Tangent, Sweet Home, and Scio. The Albany store welcomes close to 100 customers everyday. The store consists of all kinds of breads when you go into the store. Also, there is a warehouse that has two warehouse style doors that pull up for the trucks to bring the product to the outlet . THE STORY OF BRUCE ELY Lead photographer for the Portland Trail Blazers    “I miss being with the team. I can close my eyes and see the route I would take to practice every day.”  - Wesley Matthews Bruce Ely Lead Photographer at Portland Trail Blazers I chose Bruce Ely as my Photographer of the week because of the Trail Blazers I have been a fan since I was seven. I wanted to learn more about what it is like to be the man behind the camera for the Blazers.  Bruce Ely is a compassionate person he is a well rounded photographer. He has won several awards. In the photo I picked for this post I was impressed that Ely was there with Wesley Matthews taking this shot of him while the Blazers were playing. This photo of Wesley showed a side of an injured player that desires to play, he was a starter. I like how Ely showed that Wesley was watching the TV and the colors in the photo make you feel sad and gloomy.  Ely has over 20 years experience and has cov...

An attraction that has brought more attention to the historic downtown Albany. A lot of the people that are working there are volunteers that love to help people. They help people feel comfortable and help kids get on the carousel. They are all happy and cheerful. The property was paid for by a grant from the Central Albany Revitalization Area. A local attorney offered to lend the money for the property until the grant was approved. In December there is a breakfast with Santa event taking place at the Counsel on December 9.
